Our capacity to respond to climate change

​​Over the last century in South Australia average temperatures have increased by nearly one degree Celsius, autumn rainfall has declined, and globally the sea level has risen by 17 centimetres. These trends are expected to continue and to increasingly impact the infrastructure, industries and natural resources that support our economy, health and wellbeing. Research is focused on improving our understanding of the consequences of climate change, to help plan for potential impacts and help us adapt.
