Before deleting a page, it is important to understand the implications before you do it. Any time you delete a page you break the links associated. This causes those links to become "orphaned links". It is important check all associated links in accordance with the following procedure to ensure this is managed appropriately.

  1. From the "Manage Pages" main page, select "Link between Pages"
  2. Filter the "Linked from (Linked Page)" column so that you can see the page that you are planning to delete. Make a note of what links would be affected
  3. Filter the other relevant column (depending on whether it is a link to a management theme, home page (domain) or other page) to see if there are any other links that might be affected
  4. See the "Links Between Pages", "Editing a Link between Pages" and "Deleting a Link between Pages" sections to either remove or redirect the links which will be affected
  5. Return to the 'Manage Pages' main screen. From here, select the page type of the page you wish to delete
  6. From here you will be redirected to the relevant functional page
  7. Once you have found the item you wish to delete, simply tag it in the left hand column
  8. From the ribbon bar select "Items" – "Delete Item"
  9. A pop up will appear confirming you wish to delete the item. Select 'ok' or 'cancel' as appropriate
  10. Your page is now deleted.
